Quantum 9 Adds Bonnie Savage PH.D. to Cannabis Consulting Team as Head of Supply Chain Logistics

Dr. Savage has extensive experience in guiding both the management and development of major supply chain logistics operations. Her expertise has its roots in engineering disciplines as well as having served the needs of environmental sciences and agriculture.  Business landscapes she has served include a variety of physical, financial, political, and social aspects of those business areas. The logistics she employed, and often designed, necessarily included working with parameters which met the challenges to logistics that were posed by situations with remote locations, severe arctic climatic areas, economically challenged scenarios, politically sensitive environments, and networks of urban centers as well as the entire national grid including interfaces with foreign borders.

Major projects which highlight Dr. Savage’s supply chain logistics expertise began with her work in Alaska serving both research interests on the Arctic slope and those in the Kenai Peninsula area; working with the needs of environmental, industrial and regulatory interests. Later she designed and conducted highway research in Washington state, coordinating road building. Thereafter in Indiana, she orchestrated a 3+ year development of transportations systems research.  There, Dr. Savage earned the respect of Congressional legislators and President Bush alike, when she designed a next generation system for passengers, freight, and emergency services. Before the Presidential race saw a change of leadership, $38 million had been set aside to begin rolling the nationally encompassing design for passenger, freight and emergency services designed by Dr. Savage; including a deep component of supporting logistics. Those designed systems accounted for total national level logistics for all interests as well as addressed needs for increasing the Gross Domestic Product (GDP), national safety and security. While demonstrating the practicality of the solution with a case study for the State of Indiana, her work earned her an award as Indiana’s Business Woman of the Year in 2005.  Since that time Dr. Savage has also run one of the nation’s largest equine breeding facilities, managing the supply logistics for a ranch which supported over 70 head of elite bred performance equine. Her expertise has been hands-on management of small highly challenging situations to moderately sized business needs and in the form of national level design of major, critical operations, supply chain systems.
