Position Overview:
The Mycologist will play a critical role in cultivating, researching, and maintaining psilocybin mushrooms for therapeutic use in compliance with Colorado’s regulatory standards. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a background in fungal biology and a passion for pioneering the future of natural medicine.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the cultivation and growth cycles of psilocybin mushrooms in a controlled environment.
- Develop and refine cultivation protocols to optimize yield, quality, and consistency.
- Ensure compliance with Colorado’s psilocybin regulations, including documentation and reporting.
- Collaborate with research and development teams to innovate cultivation techniques.
- Monitor environmental conditions (e.g., humidity, temperature, and lighting) to maintain optimal growth.
- Conduct routine testing to ensure product quality and potency.
- Train and mentor cultivation team members on best practices and standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mycology, Biology, Plant Science, or a related field (Master’s or Ph.D. preferred).
